I'm building the grove walls onto a sheet of plasticard using flexible filler to create the walls. The idea was for Russ' rubber terrain piece to drop neatly into the space provided - then the trees can be placed on top.
Tricky bit is building walls out of filler but I have a cunning plan! Experiment has worked well so now going full scale!
Chatted to Ian - the walls must allow for 2 bases plus an artillery piece at the narrow end and at least 3 bases on the long end (so 21cm width inside and at least 27cm depth). So essentially enough to encapsulate an A4 sheet of paper.
This is larger than the 7" x 10" of Russ' piece so some thought required. I'll have a couple of options made up for you to judge which does the job best.

Can't wait to see them. As ever, these projects lead into other ideas and uses and we all benefit from ever better looking games!
