Sunday 30th Sept Star Wars Armada Tournament

 My new rebel scum fleet on the left running away from Imperial star destroyer (i did this a lot)

Lost this one badly due to his better fighter cover but he had an illegal list i was awarded all the points. (Meh he he!)

Lost every match

Managed to lose 2 games badly and win one well and still came in third,

back to the drawing board.

Actually we went to the Liverpool Gay pride rally to show our support for our brothers and sisters and anyone else in comfortable shoes.

The rally ended right outside the shop we were playing the tounament

The sneaky Rebels pulled off another win destroying a victory class destroyer, Boba fett and Darth vader, for the loss of the rebel transport and 2 fighter squadrons

Gauntlet Game 2017

Next Saturday (1st July) is Gauntlet at the club. As it's just a week off I asked Mark about staging a 1200 point Star Wars armada game as it is just a matter of building the two fleets and hey presto!

After our past game which was 1000 points we upped the ante and went for a 1200 point build list on each side. This will be a mega battle.


I don't know what everyone's plans are for next Saturday but it would be more fun if it was just Mark and me.

The Imperial centre came under extreme pressure and was destroyed by concentrated rebel attacks

Imperial right hook went too far out before the swing in and contributed very little to the battle

Saturday is Star Wars Armada Day!

Mark... just recapping on what he should of done.....

Mark and I finally get to field 1000 point fleets on Saturday, something which we have looked forward to doing for some time. With the Ante upped things will be very much different to what we have been used to playing at 400 point tournament level.

I am sure Mark has spent just as much time on his fleet build as me and it will be interesting to see exactly how this pans out. The rebels have massive resources to field a squadron heavy fleet backed up with rogue support and a lot of medium sized ships while the empire is sure to be fielding some bruising star destroyers backed up with corvettes and a load of mega upgrades.
