When the crunch came the Lancastrians had lost their will to fight and the cavalry was to late

We should have attacked as soon as the Lancastrians touched the stream. Would have been a massacre!

Historically that's what happened.
the Lancastrians ran and the Yorkist commanders were captured whilst pursuing in the dark
